TMBG are OK
James Duval (jduva001@yahoo.com) submitted: I was 13 years old when I attended my first TMBG show. Being that young, I had to rely on parents to get me there. Parents who had to cook dinner & make sure I did my homework. My mom called the venue (the now demolished Boathouse in Norfolk, VA) to find out when They Might Be Giants would go on. The phone rang and rang and rang. Finally, someone picked up and answered her question with “Well, we go on at 9 tonight.” Turns out it was John Flansburgh. He offered me a free ticket to the show, but since we already had them, he gave me this instead.
